Safe Work Practices — General Rules

Sheard Service Co. safe work standards include:

• Colour-coded cloths and mops to prevent cross-contamination.

• Cleaning from high to low, and from clean to dirty.

• Clear signage during wet mopping (e.g. Wet Floor signs).

• Frequent cloth/mop changes in toilets and high-risk areas.

• Use of checklists for daily and periodic tasks.

Prohibited Actions:

• Standing on chairs or unstable ladders.

• Leaving equipment in public walkways.

• Using equipment or chemicals without induction.
